Mai Tai (Original 1944)

Ingredients

• 2 oz aged Jamaican rum
• ¾ oz fresh lime juice
• ½ oz orange curaçao
• ¼ oz orgeat syrup
• ¼ oz simple syrup
• Mint sprig for garnish
• Lime shell for garnish

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice
2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
3. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice
4. Garnish with a mint sprig and spent lime shell
5. Serve with a straw
